Our History
During the first 14 years EastNet primarily provided end to end network solutions to it’s customers, most of whom were small and mid size businesses. Simultaneously, EastNet also worked on numerous large scale contracts with hundreds of servers and thousands of desktops which included Federal agencies and large commercial corporations. In 2007, EastNet changed its direction to focus more heavily on a new and growing market known as virtualization. Initially as a Virtual Iron Partner several successful IT virtualization projects were designed and delivered.
In June of 2009, EastNet partnered with Citrix and has been delivering server and desktop virtualization solutions ever since utilizing:
- Microsoft’s Hyper-V
- Citrix XenServer, and
- Citrix XenDesktop
